Setlist

Sounds magzine from March 18, 1978 mentions The Police in a review: "Their best number was actually a slower, pseudo-reggae thing called 'Rock Sound' which is very, very catchy and - surprise, surprise - is about to be released as a single by A&M. Should be a massive hit."

Surely they meant "Roxanne"!

Trivia

Stewart Copeland drives to Sting and then to the venue where they have ice cream with Harry (an early roadie?). They pick up their truck and drive to St. John's Wood, their Sounds Alright rehearsal space and then back to the Rainbow Theatre. Stewart sets up his entire TAMA kit including the three Rototoms. They start their concert at 08:15pm to polite applause. They stay around until Spirit finish and then pack their gear. Stewart drives home where all of the Curved Air members tell him that the concert could have been worse.
