Sting received an award at the Weekend Star Entertainment Awards at the Stardust Club in Dublin, Ireland. The TV show was broadcast by RTÉ on 1980-05-02.
Afterwards Cliff Richard took Sting to the Mirabeau restaurant in Sandycove close to Dublin - a restaurant he'd visit again in September.
